How do we do that?

Simple. We offer Businesses and Schools in the area an opportunity to rent beehives that we install on your land or on the roof of your building (if accessible). The city of Sherbrooke and most other cities permit urban beekeeping. Rental plans are completely tailor-made depending on the level of involvement your business wishes to have. There are several options available to you. If you want to involve your employees when working in beehives and introduce them to beekeeping, there is a possibility to do so. It is a unique experience to offer your employees. If you want to form a group of people in your business who are extremely interested in beekeeping and would like to be self-sufficient in taking care of the beehives on site, there is the possibility of doing so too. The amount of honey and packaging can be tailored to your needs. Honey can be potted for you in 300g-400g or 500g jars that you can offer to your employees with custom labels bearing the name of company / your company logo. There is also the possibility of having beeswax as well as pollen. The process of extracting honey is also an option that you can take if you want to see firsthand how honey is extracted.

Increase your beekeeping knowledge

We offer courses for beginner and advanced beekeepers, as well as home inspections of your apiary by a professional beekeeper. If you want to know the condition of your hives, if the bees are progressing as they should, or if you are effectively managing and maximizing your apiary, feel free to book a private inspection and it will be our pleasure to assist you. With a home inspection, you get a personalized approach adapted to your needs. Every step is explained in detail, and time is taken to answer any questions you may have. Each inspection lasts about 1 hour, which gives you ample time to inspect several hives. If you need more time because you have many more hives or a few different apiaries to visit, contact us for a quote. Travel time is included in the price of the package, within a 60km radius of our store in Sherbrooke. For customers outside of this area, additional travel charges apply. For more details, please contact us. We strongly recommend between 2 and 3 annual inspections by a professional, to make sure you are on the right track: spring, mid-summer and late summer.
